What is a match group?

When there are more than one of your images found on a domain we refer to this as a “match group”, they will be shown at the bottom of the match viewer.

Before taking action on a domain its best to review these additional images and take steps to "clean up the match" before taking any further steps. For example, your image might be used as an icon for an article that is advertised throughout the website/domain. This could mean you have multiple matches on the domain for the main infringement within an article/product page, but also within search pages for specific tags or as recommended articles or products. We will pursue the main use (i.e. the article or product page), therefore, the other matches can be ignored.

You can choose “approved use” “not my image” and simply, “ignore” when reviewing these images, which removes them from the match.
