How are Pixsy's license fees calculated?

Our goal is always to start a case with pricing that reflects both our clients’ licensing history and fair market value for the work.
Fair Market valuation for online-web use is commonly based on the following factors:
- Jurisdiction of infringement
- Company size
- Market reach
- Usage type
- Size of image
Licensing History (provided by client at the time of case submission)
Other factors that can significantly influence pricing are if you register your work with an international copyright office; if your copyright management information was modified (addition or removal of a watermark); or if you were not attributed for your work.
We encourage you to include as much information when you submit the case to us, including licensing history and whether or not public pricing exists for the specific work online.
If information to support a higher value of your case (for example, license history) is not provided, we assume this is not available and will calculate our own pricing through Pixsy’s Pricing Calculator. Pixsy’s Pricing Calculator assesses the above factors and utilizes pricing from local fair market guides, and licensing data from over 35,000 clients and 55,000 cases of unauthorized image use.
