What documents might be required to engage a Pixsy Legal Partner and start a legal case?

Documents required by our legal partners vary depending on the jurisdiction of infringement, and can also vary between different firms within 1 jurisdiction. We try wherever possible to standardize the required documents.

Examples of documents that you may need to provide to start a legal case include:

  1. Passport
  2. Driver’s license
  3. Recent utility bill (from within the last 3 months)

Keep in mind that you’re opening a legal case file, and verification of your identity will in many circumstances be required in international cases (outside of the US).

In jurisdictions where sensitive information or documents are required, you will receive an engagement letter through our electronic signature partner, DocuSign.

The letter will outline what exact information our Legal Partner requires, and the DocuSign envelope will allow you to securely attach and transmit the requested documents directly to the Legal Partner managing your case.
