How do I identify where my photo is published online?

When you submit a case to Pixsy, it’s helpful for us to know the website where your photo has been published online. Examples of publication URLs include:

  • https://davidsmithphoto.com/photos/cherry-blossom/
  • https://danielfoster.photoshelter.com/gallery-image/Berlin/G0000dNB2ekQs7.M/I0000sIAXscC0Hjo

Follow these steps to provide your photo publication URL:

  1. Navigate to where your photo is published online
  2. Right-click on the web address in your web browser
  3. Select “Copy”
  4. Return to the case submission form within Pixsy and click “Paste”

If you have never published your photo online yourself, it is helpful to provide where your client may have published it.

If you have only published your image in print or offline, you can provide a link to your professional webpage and add in details about the offline publication place in the "additional notes" section of the case submission form.

If you do not have a professional website where you share your photography, you can share the image on your social media or through a DropBox folder with a shared access link.
