The person using my image contacted me, what should I do?

First, we ask that you do not engage with the Image User except to confirm that Pixsy is your authorized agent, and that all communications need to be made directly through us or the Legal Partner that contacted them. Keep in mind that any external communications inhibit our ability to negotiate a successful resolution of your case, and can result in a case cancelation.
If the Image User has sent you an email, here’s some suggested text to send as a reply:
Dear Image User,
Thank you for your email. I am confirming that Pixsy and their chosen legal partners are my authorized representatives in this case of copyright infringement.
I will not respond to any further attempts to contact me - please direct all future communications to the party that initiated contact with you regarding this unauthorized use of my work.
Sincerely,
Artist
If you’ve been contacted, also let us know as soon as possible by replying to the email through which you have been receiving case related updates - this email includes the case reference number, and will be sent directly to your Case Manager. You can attach a copy of any messages that have been sent to you directly to this email.
If you can't find the relevant email to contact your Case Manager or need urgent help, please contact support, here.
