​How do I pick a tax form and fill it out?

If you are unsure about which tax form to use, the quick and simple questionnaire in the payment form will tell you.

It will ask you some basic questions to assess and determine the relevant tax form for you. If you are warned you will be subject to 30% tax withholding rate, don’t panic. You probably just need to check these two things:

1. Where it asks for “citizenship” you should enter where you pay your taxes (Tax Residency)
2. Make sure you have answered the “Foreign Tax Identifying Number” question - use whatever is your country’s most common tax ID (e.g. National Insurance number, Steuernummer, Tax File Number etc.). Leaving the tax number field blank may trigger a 30% withholding to comply with US tax law.
