How do I find an image URL?

When you submit a case to Pixsy, we need to know both the original place that your image was published and the direct URL where it was published.

A direct image URL is the exact location of an image on the web and usually ends in a common image file extension such as jpg, png, or gif.

Follow these steps to obtain a direct URL for an image online:

  1. Right-click on the image
  2. Select to copy the image address:
    1. Safari: "Copy image address"
    2. Chrome: "Copy image URL"
    3. Firefox: "Copy image location"
  3. Paste the URL where needed (again, right-click and select "Paste")

Note to Flickr Users

Click the “Download” icon next to an image, select a size and then click “Copy link address” in Chrome, “Copy link” in Safari, or “Copy link location” in Firefox to obtain the image URL (see below). This may not work if you have downloading disabled.
