Why can’t Pixsy accept a case where my Creative Commons license was breached?

Have you taken a look at the terms of your Creative Commons licenses, and noticed anything in particular about the language surrounding the license deed?
Licenses prior to 4.0 state simply that “You may [provide attribution] in any reasonable manner.” While the new 4.0 license tightens up significantly on this terminology, “you must give appropriate credit” is qualified by “if supplied.”
(You can read it in full on the Creative Commons website)
Such terminology remains slippery across Creative Commons’ license deeds, and because Creative Commons licences have not been widely tested in legal cases so far, establishing the exact definition of various Creative Commons license terms is very difficult and remains subject to various forms of interpretation.
We continue to accept cases where no attribution was given with the exception of Creative Commons 4.0 licenses.
Please note that license breaches committed under the 4.0 license can be rectified within 30 days without penalty to the user.
